Matt  is a 24 year military veteran serving in and retiring from the United  States Army and Idaho Army National Guard, as well as being a 25+ year  veteran of the design and building industry as an architectural focused  building design and drafting professional, framing carpenter and  contractor, deck building contractor, general contractor and  construction manager. 

In  addition to being an experienced carpenter, general contractor,  construction manager, building design professional and energy modeling  consultant, Matt also has education and experience specifically focused  in the inspection of homes and residential structures, decks and deck  systems and light commercial properties. He has utilized all his  experience and education to design and build better as well as provide  inspection services focused around the International Association of  Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI®) Standards of Practice and Code  of Ethics and the North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA®)  Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
